Honoring Linda "Nana" Nation's Life and Legacy

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mom and "Nana", Linda Nation on October 31st. She passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning from a cardiac event caused by a sudden pulmonary embolism.

Her great loves in life were her Jesus, her husband of 46 years, her children (Rachel, Aaron, and Tim), and her 6 grandchildren (and a few beloved grand-dogs). She was a beloved school teacher, professionally for 41 years, investing into countless lives and "adopting" many of her students as her own.

Additionally, she was not just Nana to her grandchildren, but everyone she came into contact with, and particularly those who got the great privilege of enjoying her world class desserts she would make for her son's restaurant. She would often argue with her son about refusing to raise prices for her desserts because that's how she "loved on folks". If you got to try her desserts, you experienced her love, and she certainly had a long list of those wishing to be adopted into the family after a first bite.

Because of the suddenness of her passing and the many, many requests of how people can show their appreciation and love for her and the family she leaves behind, we have decided to open this gofundme to help defray costs of the funeral, burial, and any other costs that arise as we walk through this process.

She loved you all more than you could know (even if she didn't know you well-she didn't need much to claim you as her own), and her absence leaves more holes in our lives than we ever could have imagined. Thank you for any help in this transitionary time as we navigate the coming days.
