Honoring Liz Gongora’s Memory

It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Elizabeth Gongora (mother of our dear friend, Chris Gongora) on February 2, 2025.

Liz, our beloved "Momma G," was a loving mom, friend, and guiding light to so many. She had an incredibly special way of making everyone feel like family—often referring to Chris’ friends as her “chosen children.”

As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly difficult time for Chris, who was deeply close to his mom. In addition to the emotional loss, he is now facing the financial burden of arranging her memorial service. As we all know, Chris would never feel comfortable asking for help himself, so as his friends, we are coming together to support him in any way we can.

Our goal is to raise enough funds to cover the funeral expenses entirely. If you are able to contribute, any amount—big or small—will make a meaningful difference in easing this burden for our incredible friend. If donating isn’t possible right now, we completely understand, and we simply ask that you send Chris your love, support, and condolences.

Liz’s memorial is scheduled on March 3, 2025 at 12:00pm.
