Honoring Loretta- Help us lay her to rest
Donation protected
This week, our beloved Grandma, Loretta Elaine Pewett Wolfe, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 82. Just two years ago, she beat colon cancer, and only last week had begun preparing to face a new battle with breast cancer. Her strength, courage, and love carried her through so much — and those same qualities touched every single life she came across.
To us and so many others, she was simply “Grandma.” She was the heart of our family — a woman who welcomed everyone into her home as if they were her own. She spent her entire life giving to others, never asking for anything in return. She loved to laugh, to give, to care. She hated cooking, but somehow always had a warm meal ready for anyone who stopped by. And her made-from-scratch pound cakes every Christmas were unforgettable!
For the past 16 years, she gave up her own retirement to raise her great-grandchildren, pouring everything she had into making sure her family had the best life she could give. Her love didn’t come with conditions — it just came, abundantly and constantly.
We are now trying to raise funds to help cover Grandma’s funeral and burial costs. This loss was sudden and has left us heartbroken and unprepared. She is survived by her loving husband, who now faces the difficult task of continuing to care for their three great-grandchildren with limited resources.
Any donation — no matter how small — would mean the world to us during this time. Thank you for helping us honor the memory of a woman who gave so much, to so many.
