Honoring Luz Vega: Help Fund Her Final Rest

Hi family, extended family and friends, it is with great sadness that we again are saying goodbye to another family member. This time is my giving, caretaking, beautiful mother Luz Vega aka Lucy. Our family will never be quite the same. My Mom was a lot of things for a lot people. She was a Daughter, a Mother, a Grandmother, a Friend, a Medical professional. I think we can all agree that she was a fighter, a beacon of light for others, an advocate for her sons and per patients. She worked so hard for so long, never asking for much, hating to be a "bother", she was quiet and timid at times but when she believed in something she fought hard for her beliefs. She was a proud woman who took care of her responsibilities like no woman I have seen before. She made a life for her children and always put them before herself. Even at the age of 74 she was still working and providing. But now she gets to rest, she gets to be with her family that has passed before, she is able to meet the Lord who afforded her health and wealth in so many ways before he called her Home. We hope that you will give what you can to help provide her with a proper burial fit for a Queen. She deserved so much than what she asked for in this life but at least we can provide this last thing for her. And any excess that we raise will help with the upkeep of her home.
