Honoring Sis. Athenais Livingston (Ma Dodoo)'s Loving Memory

One of my fondest memories of my beloved mother, Sis. Athenais Livingston (Ma Dodoo) is how she always made us laugh and brought a smile to our faces. It is with heavy hearts that I share the devastating news of my mom's passing at the age of 102. Monday, September 16, 2024, was an emotionally impactful day for all of us, as Ma Dodoo was a light in the lives of everyone she met. She lived each day with a kind word and a heart full of love for all.

To us, she was more than a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, sister, friend, and confidante. Ma Dodoo was always the first to lend a helping hand, whether to family, friends, or even strangers. Her departure has left an indescribable void in our hearts and the community she so dearly cherished.

In addition to our overwhelming grief, our family now faces unexpected financial burdens. The costs of the funeral, burial, and other related expenses have placed a significant strain on us during this incredibly difficult time. As we navigate our sorrow, we are committed to giving Ma Dodoo the beautiful farewell she deserves.
