With the heaviest hearts, we share the devastating news of the sudden passing of our beloved son, Makson Mezziah Hayner. Born on November 20, 2024, Makson brought immense joy, love, and light into our lives. On April 12, 2025, just shy of turning 5 months old, our sweet baby boy was called home to be with the angels due to an unexpected, tragic accident during his sleep.

As parents, nothing can prepare you for the pain of losing a child. We, Mervin Hayner III and Marlena Calo-oy, are leaning on faith and the love of our family and friends during this unimaginable time.

We are reaching out with humble hearts to ask for support in honoring Makson’s life with a beautiful prayer ceremony and crematory services. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help us find peace and give our son the farewell he deserves.
