Honoring Mama Nancy: A Legacy of Love

Family & friends, it's with many heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our dear mother, Nancy Rose Young, aka Mama Nancy and Aunty Nancy, on March 5, 2025. The Young Family is seeking support for donations to help cover the cost of the celebration of her life that she deserves. A mother of 15, devoted to love and unity, our mother was very passionate about educating our youth. She was a dedicated advocate for the education of her children, but also for every student she crossed paths with as a teacher of over 20 years at schools such as Ka’a’awa Elementary, Sunset Beach Elementary, Waiakea Elementary, and Kea’au Middle School. Her impact on so many is legendary!

We appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and messages of support during this difficult time. So much kindness has been shown, and it is a true testament to what our mom put out into the world. Your love & support mean the world to us as we navigate through our grief. Your generosity will allow her life to be celebrated as she pictured it with love, laughter, food, and dancing! Rest in love, mom. Aloha, a hui hou!
