Honoring Margaux Nguyen: A Free Spirit Gone Too Soon
On February 19, 2025, we lost Margaux Nguyen — my beautiful cousin and someone who felt like a little sister to me. She was a soul who brought light to everyone she met. Margaux was a true free spirit, living life on an off-beaten path filled with adventure, creativity, and love.

Growing up in France, Margaux developed a deep appreciation for culture, art, and exploration. That love carried her across the world — from the beaches she adored to the many places where she made lifelong connections. She had so many talents — speaking multiple languages, playing guitar, singing beautifully — and she combined her artistic soul with a brilliant mind, earning her master’s degree and inspiring others with her wisdom and curiosity.

But beyond her brilliance and creativity, Margaux had a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor. She could light up any room with her laughter and make even the hardest days brighter. Her kindness, strength, and ability to empower those around her — especially women — made her unforgettable.

Tragically, Margaux’s life was taken in a senseless act of violence in Maine. Though her time with us was cut short, her legacy of compassion and courage lives on — the courage to take chances, chase dreams, and live a life full of purpose, adventure, and love.

We’re raising funds to help cover the costs associated of bringing Margaux home and funeral cost in France. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us honor her memory and give her the loving farewell she deserves.

Margaux was and will always be a profound inspiration to me. As I move forward, I will carry her spirit with me, continuing our shared journey of travel and exploration. Her fearless love for life, her sense of wonder, and her unwavering pursuit of adventure will guide me as I roam the world and live in a way that honors the vibrant energy she brought to every place she touched. We love and miss you so much! We will meet again
