Honoring Mario's Legacy - Help Ease Elva's Burden

Donation protected
Dear Friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a very special man —Mario Corona Aguilar. A beloved father, Abuelón, Hermano, and friend. He forged a beautiful legacy of honesty, faith, and resilience even in the darkest of circumstances. Mario was an inspiration to all those with whom he associated; willing to share, teach, or encourage a struggling friend, a stranger or family member. He had a heart of gold and will be sorely missed.

During the last ten years of his life, his health drastically declined, putting him in dire need of constant medical attention; thus, reducing his quality of life significantly. His diabetes caused major health complications including heart disease, kidney failure, blindness, mental illness, and dementia. After many medical procedures, visits to the ER, and interventions, his struggle came to an end on November 20th, 2024 surrounded by family. His legacy lives on, and we love him for all the goodness he shared!

Despite his humble beginnings, Mario was blessed with the opportunity to come to the United States and acquire his own American Dream along with his family. Unfortunately, due to his health complications, Mario has incurred many medical bills. This financial burden will now be passed on to Elva, his dedicated wife and caretaker, and the rest of his family.

Furthermore, it was just nine months ago that Elva also underwent complete shoulder replacement as a result of helping Mario get around. Clearly, the weight of her responsibility became a physical manifestation. Your support during these difficult times is key!

Please consider donating to this fund to help pay for Mario's medical debt, contribute to his memorial, and help ease Elva's financial burden. If it is not possible for you to donate at this time, please help us by sharing this campaign with family and friends. God bless you during this holiday season.

Queridos amigos,
