Honoring Mark's Life: A Veteran's Final Journey
Donation protected
We are raising funds for our chosen family member, Mark Johnson, who is losing his health battle. Unfortunately, he is declining rapidly from lung, brain, and bone cancer. On July 5th he started his hospice care journey at The Ryan House in Phoenix. The funds raised from this will help pay for any non-insurance covered medical needs, his cremation, and a celebration of life when God finds it is time to bring him home.
Mark was previously in the unhoused community where we befriended him and his beloved dog, Luna. After time they became like family, and I am proud to be his end of life custodian so I can honor his life. Mark served in the Navy during Vietnam, and spent time in the Philippines during his service. He was also a union painter, a world traveler, talented musician, amusing story teller, good friend, and a great dog dad.
We love him fiercely and hope to give him the respect he deserves as a veteran when it comes time to say our final goodbyes. Thank you for reading this, and thank you for your gift.
