Honoring Micah's Life and Passionate Spirit

Micah Jasmine Manalese was a passionate and loving 30-year-old. She was very active and had many talents. Her passions includes: cooking, writing, singing, crafting, painting, gardening, traveling the world, running, paddle boarding, snorkeling, and most of all rock climbing. Rock climbing was her absolute favorite activity to do. Strong and ambitious, Micah had been climbing since 2014. She would frequently train at Sender One in Santa Ana, CA and was a part of the rock climbing community in Southern California. With the training, she somehow managed to squeezed in time with her family and friends. She could do it all. She was unstoppable.
On January 18, 2025, Micah was climbing in Red Rocks Canyon in Nevada with a friend. When the accident occurred, there was another group of climbers across the canyon that got stuck and witnessed Micah’s accident. After the group of climbers were rescued, the rescuers began their mission to help Micah and her friend. They airlifted her via helicopter and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s hard to come to terms with this tremendous loss. Micah was extremely thoughtful and loving, whether it be with friends, family, and even strangers. Wherever she went, she was always spreading joy. She valued spending time with her loved ones. She was everything a mother, father, and sister could ask for. And she was loved back by everyone.
We are raising funds to help Micah’s family with the funeral expenses and provide them some relief and support during this unimaginable time of grief. Any donation, big or small, will be appreciated as they navigate through this heartbreaking loss.
Thank you for your love and support during this difficult time. Micah’s spirit adventurous heart will never be forgotten.
