Honoring Michael Neary Sr.: Support His Memorial

Our names are Shannon, Jesse, and Michael Neary, and our dad, Michael S. Neary Sr., lost his life suddenly on September 6th, 2024.

Our dad wore many hats, but being a father to us and a poppa/grandpa to his 5 grandchildren was his favorite.

Michael worked all of his life to provide for his family. He held a full-time job with UPS for30 years and also was a cab driver in the summer on his weekends off. Michael also worked security at the Boardy Barn for more than a decade. Michael was a dedicated fireman with the Hampton Bays Fire Department before moving towns and retiring that hat. After retiring from UPS, you could find Michael with his smiling face and funny jokes behind the counter at his local 7-Eleven, getting ready to serve the locals coffee. Michael made so many friends along the way, and his sudden passing has left everyone heartbroken.

Our family was not expecting this to happen, and financially, we are unable to afford respectable memorial services for this man who has given his entire life to his family.

Mike Sr., our dad, was the type of man to give someone his last dollar, the shirt off his back, or a free cup of coffee for someone who needed it over himself.
