بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raaji’oon
To Allah we belong, and unto Him is our return.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved brother, son, uncle, and dearest friend Mohamed Abdiaziz Omar (better known as Mohamed Yare) on Friday, November 22, 2024. May Allah, the Most Merciful, forgive him, shower his blessings upon him, and grant him a garden from the gardens of paradise.
Mohamed was a gem amongst us, and he was deeply loved by many. We will grieve deeply. Our hearts ache with his loss, and this loss has left a hole in our lives. Although it's hard to continue living in a world without a ‘Mohamed Yare,’ we will forever cherish the memories in our hearts and remember his great qualities. His presence brought joy to those that knew him, and his generosity, kindness, and sense of humor attracted those that didn’t know him. He was an obedient son to his parents, a caring and protective brother to his siblings, and a loyal and loving friend to all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Alhamdulilah, for this faith that is Islam, that gives us the hope of being unified in Jannah with our loved ones. May Allah have mercy on our dead and unite us all in Jannah Al-Firdaus Al-Acla.
We seek to donate the money raised towards aiding the family with the funeral and burial costs, and on behalf of Mohamed, all the remaining money will be donated towards projects such as the building, maintenance, and servicing of Mosques, the creation of Water Wells, and the planting of Trees, all in hopes that this will act as a means of Sadaqah Jaariyah for him - ongoing charity that he will continue to benefit from until Yawm Al Qiyaamah.
We humbly ask for your support in donating towards this page. Your generous donations, every contribution, no matter how small, will be a means of Sadaqah Jaariyah for Mohamed and a source of blessings for us all, in sha Allah. May Allah reward you all, and may He grant patience and strength to his family during this difficult time.
A short reminder for us all: The Messenger (SAW) said, “The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” Therefore, let us give generously from what Allah has blessed us with so that we may be given respite on the day of Qiyaamah through our charitable actions.
