Honoring Myjour Amirion Carter Pennix: Funeral Fund

We are heartbroken to share that our beloved son, Myjour Amirion Carter Pennix, has passed away at just 4 months old. Our precious boy brought so much light and joy to our lives in such a short time. He was loved beyond measure, and we are devastated by his loss.

Myjour had the brightest smile that could light up the world. Every time he saw me, his mom, he’d flash that beautiful, heart-melting grin when I’d say, “Hi, handsome.” He loved his soft blue blankets and his "I am loved" stuffed toy that looked just like him. We could already tell that blue was going to be his favorite color.

One of Myjour's greatest joys was watching Mickey Mouse Funhouse. He’d laugh so much, and during the “stretch break” song, he’d kick his little feet as if he was dancing along. He was such a calm and happy baby—he rarely cried, except when he wanted a bottle or a diaper change. He loved having “conversations,” and he’d baby talk about anything and everything! We cherished those moments, and every nap, every smile, and every giggle was a blessing.

From the moment I found out I was pregnant, I sang “To Zion” by Lauryn Hill to him, and I knew in my heart that he was a boy before we even found out. He was the center of our world. His dad adored him, and Myjour would sit quietly, watching and talking while his dad played video games. Our little man brought so much happiness to our lives, and we will forever cherish every single memory we made with him.
