Honoring Our Amazing Friend Hubert Cross
Donation protected
On March 21st, 2020, we tragically lost Hubert Cross: our dear friend, devoted son, loving husband, and caring father. In the midst of global uncertainty and turmoil, Hubert, 35, was taken from us long before his time. We find ourselves facing profound grief and are reaching out to our loved ones for comfort and support.
Hubert will be remembered as a big-hearted man who dedicated countless hours to his family: his wife Otilia, his daughter Emma, age five, and his son Hubert Jr., age one. Hubert provided for his family in every sense of the word. A talented engineer and driven entrepreneur, Hubert found his true passion and calling in the life he was building with Otilia, to whom he was a doting and caring companion. No matter his schedule, he prioritized time with Emma and Hubert: playing guitar for them, taking them on hikes, arranging visits to the beach, and devoting his energy to bringing up two bright and wonderful children.
We will never forget Hubert’s friendly personality and smile, which he shared so openly with everyone he met. Hubert loved music, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and soaking in the warm waters of Central America. He was passionate about justice and freedom. We will remember his character and integrity, particularly in the way that he unfailingly did what was right for his family and friends. Hubert was always there for us—today, we ask you to be there for his family in their time of deepest sorrow.
We have set up this fundraising page to alleviate a measure of the financial burden that Otilia and the children will experience in the coming weeks and months. Whether or not you are able to give financially at this time, we would be profoundly grateful for comments and/or private messages sharing your memories of Hubert to bring us smiles and solace.
Because of COVID-19 and gathering restrictions, we regret to inform you that there will not be a public funeral or viewing.
From our hearts, in Hubert’s memory, we thank you for your love and support. May God bless you each of you and your loved ones.
