Honoring our beloved Jackson Taylor Garton

Donation protected
Our community has been devastated by the loss of Jackson Taylor Garton who passed unexpectedly in a car accident on Saturday, November 11th.

Jackson Taylor Garton was a Senior at Carroll High School, one week shy of celebrating his 18th birthday. Destined for Ball State University’s School of Architecture in 2024, Jack was looking forward to his architecture apprenticeship this coming spring semester. His loves were hunting and fishing, and spending as much time with his family as possible. Jack and his dad, Brad, recently returned from Jack’s senior trip, a father/son hunting trip. He was extremely close with his cousins and beloved by many close friends in the community who now mourn his sudden passing.

Jack was described by those close to him as a friend who built you up, patient, kind and loving. They say he was special and to know Jack was to be impacted by his life and his friendship. One friend shared that you knew he was a genuinely nice person, simply by seeing his smile. He did everything with excellence, “if it wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t Jack Garton.” He was a handsome, hardworking, genuine, and funny young man with an extremely bright future, the kind of young man any parent hopes their child to have as a friend.

To help the Garton family – Sara, Brad, Drew and Will – honor Jack’s memory, please consider donating to cover the cost of funeral services and any other financial burdens they may be faced with.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 19 between 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Monday, November 20 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Pathway Community Church, 1010 Carroll Rd, Ft Wayne, IN 46845
