Honoring Our Grandfather And Hero Sua Phia Lo

Dear Family, Friends and Community Members,

We are reaching out to you to honor the memory of our grand father, Sua Phia Lo, a decorated Hmong Army Captain who bravely served during the secret war in Laos during the American war in Vietnam. Sua Phia Lo was not only a war hero but also a pillar of strength and wisdom in our community whom will be greatly missed.

Sua Phia Lo spent over 50 years as the devoted husband to Blong Cheng Lo. Together they raised a family to include one son and two daughters, and were blessed with countless grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Sua Phia Lo would have been 103 this year, and his legacy as a respected leader and elder of the Hmong community continues to inspire us all.
