Honoring our Military, Veterans & First Responders

In 2024 we purchased our building in Lake City Minnesota and began our journey building a community based business in our wonderful town. At that time we implemented our food for thoughtfulness program in which we feed Veterans, Military & First Respondors for free. Wednesday's we feed 5-10 and somedays many more, and its an honor and a blessing to say THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. When they come through our doors they will never be asked to pay when they order off our menu or wish to enjoy our breakfast or lunch buffet. We did however put an honor box up by the register so that any customer who wants can pay it forward and buy someone lunch. Because of these donations our program is running strong, however even if our box was empty they would never be asked to pay. It's a very simple way to say Thank you for their service to country and community.

It's with this thought in mind that we are dedicating a piece of our land which was once part of Camp Lakeview which once held many American soldiers including calvary and infantry.

We would like to build a POUNT OF REMEMBERANCE to include all branches of military & first responders, and to give recognition and honor where it's due. We had a person stop in and ask if they could donate to help us build it, so we were asked to do a go fund me so folks can donate to help us build our our "Point of Remembrence" or give folks the option to help feed our Vets, Military and First Responders (Fire, Ambulance & First Responders)
