Honoring Our Sweet Girl - Alexis Diane Laughton

Our sweet Alexis Diane Laughton (Lexi) passed away on May 7, 2022. She was just 18. This page is dedicated to honoring her life and assisting her family with funeral expenses. While Lexi is no longer with us on earth, we will carry her kind and loving spirit in our hearts forever.

Lexi selflessly cared for others, loving her family and friends with all her heart. She was constantly listening and encouraging. Lexi was an animal helper and lover and enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and playing ball. She was an A Cappella member at Brainerd High School with passion and talent - she truly loved to sing. Lexi was a speaker of the word of God, professing her faith, “When you feel me in your heart… just look up – I will be there.”

Alexis is survived by her mom, Roberta Johnson; dad, Jayme (Brenda) Laughton; biggest brother, Shane Johnson; siblings, Sean, William, and Jessica Laughton and Jake, Zak and Grace Kraklau; godparents, Nicole Schoon and Phil (Aimee) Olsen; grandparents, Duane and Nancy Laughton, Terry Fisher and Mike and Barb Marohn. She is also survived by more loving family members, friends and four-legged companions than can be counted.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandma, Diane Fisher.
