Help us bring our mom home, WHOLE.

UPDATE- Time sensitive *

Our mom has gained her wings this morning on October 26th, 2023. She has fought so hard for so long, until her body couldn’t anymore. As painful, & difficult of a time it is right now, our family only has a very limited amount of time to make arrangements! 

Please help us so we can send our mom back home to Minnesota & have a proper home going. She was diagnosed shortly after coming to Houston to see our brother, when she was in pain one day & he brought her in to the ER. She was diagnosed at stage 4 & getting the process started was very urgent. Her last wishes was to be buried next to her grandma, not cremated. At the very least, we NEED to get her back home whole, in one piece. Please, even a share will go a long way. Our mom did not have insurance and was not able to get insurance once diagnosed because she was terminal. Our family is reaching out for help.

To all supporters & anybody who’s been with our mom Jossie through this journey, may know she moved to texas with her youngest son (Paco) in the early months of 2020, & on November 23rd, was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. She was diagnosed before getting insurance , so there was nothing she could do for assistance because her condition was terminal.  Jossie is going into year 3 of this journey, fighting & beating many odds the drs didn’t believe she could. Through the last 3 years, Jossie has been in the full time care of her youngest son (Paco) who took on a role, nobody ever would of expected to encounter, but did with no hesitation for his mother. Jossie has 5 children, 3 who live in Minnesota, & one in Georgia, & when able to, they fly to Houston to help & be there to support their mother & brother. The last 3 years have been very difficult for her, but the last few months have been even more challenging than expected on Jossie & her family. Jossie has had 3 emergency surgeries , & 3 procedures to drain fluid from the lungs. She has been in and out the hospital for the last 6 months & every day faced with more obstacles to overcome. Monday, she had an operation done to put a tube in her right lung to help drain the fluid that consistently builds up. After the operation, she was moved to the ICU. They are currently trying to keep her stable, & as long as shes fighting we are fighting with her! Anybody that’s been following her journey, knows her families been doing what we can with out needing assistance. We are now seeking your help to continue her fight & honor her wishes!
