Honoring Papa Lofing: Funeral Expenses

Hi friends and family, on October 31st, 2024 my grandfather Tim Lofing sr. passed away, joining my grandma Joanne and his daughter Tina Lofing in the afterlife. This year, my dad Tim Lofing jr. spent every day taking care of my papa as his legs stopped working. He was unable to work to provide for our family of 5 during this time and so my entire family was living off of my papa’s savings and pension. Now that it’s time to pay property taxes and cremation and funeral expenses for my papa have been calculated, we need help to cover the cost. The final cost to lay my papa to rest is $2,740 dollars.

My papa was raised on a farm in Columbus, MT, worked on the smelter in Anaconda and became a union welder and pipe fitter. He worked hard for everything he had, he put food on the table by hunting and fishing. He taught us how to hunt elk, pronghorn antelope, deer, gophers, and even morel mushrooms. He taught me how to tie flies when I was a young girl. He was a master welder and artist in his own right. I remember when he would play my little ponies with me. He will be missed dearly.
