Honoring Patrick Hudgens: Support for Julia Hudgens

On 5 September 2024, Patrick Marshall Hudgens was called home to be with the Lord. A faithful father, son, brother, friend, and patriot, Patrick leaves behind a legacy fit for super heroes.

On behalf of his daughter, Julia Hudgens, I am creating this gofundme page to assist Julia in offsetting the costs of funeral preparations, funding to assist Julia in traveling to and from Texas to gather her father's belongings, and the cost of bringing her father home to his final resting place in Quantico, Virginia.

In remembrance of Patrick Marshall Hudgens, born on 30 December 1965.

Patrick retired from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as an Assistant Director with 30-years of distinguished service. The last two years of which he led the Office of Firearms and Tactical Programs, which provides specialized firearms and tactical training, all equipment, support, and guidance to a workforce of 13,000 special agents and officers. Patrick also served as the Co-chair of the National Capitol Region SWAT Association.

He has decades of special operations, investigative and management experience; leading specialized units, coordinating large-scale tactical operations, National Special Security Events, and multi-agency law enforcement operations.

Patrick received numerous commendations throughout his career, including the National Tactical Officers Association’s Unit Citation for Valor, the ICE Assistant Secretary’s Award for Courage and Valor, the U.S. Attorney’s Office Outstanding Law Enforcement of the Year, and the Commissioner’s Meritorious Service Award for Heroism.

Patrick began his law enforcement career in 1994 with the City of Portsmouth, VA Police Department where he served as a patrol officer, field training officer, and criminal investigator. He is also a retired non-commissioned officer with 22-years of combined active duty and reserve service in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army Reserve.

He will be honored for his service and dedication to our country, his family, his friends, all who were graced with the blessing to know him.
