WATERTOWN, NY – Philip Michael Howard, 58, of Central Street, passed away on Thursday evening, December 5, 2024 at Samaritan Medical Center.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 11-1 pm at Reed & Benoit Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 1 pm.
Philip was born on May 4, 1966 in Long Island, NY. He was the son of Roscoe and Dolly (Jones) Howard. After his high school education, he attended SUNY Oswego for a time. He was a laborer in Watertown.
Philip was a die-hard avid San Fransisco 49ers fan. He loved football and played successfully for Red & Black Football in Watertown for several years. The life of the party, Philip could often be found singing, rapping, dancing, and entertaining. He also played in multiple bands throughout his life.
Survivors include his children, Dominique (Chrystal) Gagne of Watertown, Elijah (Jecinda) Howard of Watertown, Tyler Larmon of Castorland, Damian Howard of Watertown, and Jordan Howard of Kentucky; his siblings, Betty McCall and Jonathon Howard, both of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Hailey, Audrianna, Ivory, Juwan, Aidan, Marianna, Calianna, Ja’nayah, Laylah, and Kayliana; and his best friend of 40 years, Henri “Drey” Ramsey of Watertown.
In addition to his parents, Roscoe and Dolly, he was predeceased by a brother, Howie Howard.
