Honoring Quadair: Victim of Gun Violence

My heart breaks to write this. We are saddened, broken, and deeply distraught by the tragic murder of Quadair Hoffler of Rensselaer, NY. Quadair was only 21 years old when his life was tragically taken from us on February 10, 2025, due to a vicious and unprovoked act of senseless gun violence in Albany, NY. Quadair was visiting his friends when he was tragically shot in the head and left with no chance of survival. He unfortunately died alone. Quadair was a kind, honest, intelligent, and caring young man. His smile was contagious. He was respected and loved by his peers and family members.

Quadair leaves behind a mother whose pain is unbearable to the point where she can't find the strength to live for herself or the rest of her family. Quadair, being the oldest sibling, taught everyone how to love. He leaves behind his brothers and sisters, with the youngest being 9 years old. Our whole family is torn apart because of this daunting and horrific act of gun violence.

We are asking for monetary donations so that we can celebrate Quadair and set up a memorial in his honor and to help others who have been victims of gun violence.
