Vincent Joseph Zavala has dedicated his life to the enlightenment of Torah. He is loved by all who knew him. Gadol hame'aseh - great is he who gets things done, and in this regard, credit goes to Rabbi Zavala. Through him, he enriched the lives of many students with deep insights. He loved searching out the meat in the word and sharing it with others. He taught theology and helped people get their masters. In essence, he was a Rebbe.

Rabbi Zavala was a veteran. He served 20 years in the Federal Airforce, then joined the Texas State Guard as Captain and a Chaplain, the only Rabbi Chaplain in the Texas State Guard.
