Honoring Rachid's Legacy with Your Generosity

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Rachid Belakry, who unexpectedly passed away in Cincinnati, Ohio the night of Friday October 4, 2024.

Rachid came to the U.S. from Casablanca, Morocco, 25 years ago with his wife and four children—two sons and two daughters—seeking a better life for his family.

Rachid was a loving, hardworking husband and father who did everything he could to support not only his immediate family in the U.S. but also his extended family in Morocco.

His friends here remember him for his warmth, his love for spending time with family and friends, and the joy he brought to gatherings, especially around a meal of Moroccan food and laughter.

We have set up this GoFundMe campaign to assist Rachid's family with the unexpected funeral costs and to help ease the burden of bills during this incredibly difficult time. Your generosity will help his family focus on healing and honoring his memory without the immediate financial strain.
