Honoring Rhiannon’s Life, & support for her Family

Our daughter's close friend, Avery (16 years old), has tragically lost her mother on August 17th, 2023. She is a strong and resilient young woman, whom is facing a long road ahead. We are deeply heartened for the outpouring of love and support from her friends and family.

Avery is an exceptional high school student at École Jules Verne and lived with her loving mother. She is now having to undertake the unimaginable task of finding a new home for her and her father (who will be moving from Vancouver Island to live with her) and her dog Arlo and two cats Mavis and Snoopy.

Our intention with this GoFundMe is to raise money to help with some of the immediate costs she and her Grandmother are currently incurring, and to help her furnish and set up her new home. The remainder of the funds will go into a savings account for her post secondary education.

Avery, la grande amie de notre fille, a tragiquement perdu sa mère le 17 Août, 2023. Elle est une jeune femme courageuse et resiliente mais elle aura une longue et difficile route devant elle. Nous sommes réconfortés par l'effusion de soutien de ses amies et sa famille.

Avery est une étudiante exceptionnelle à l'École Jules Verne. Elle vivait avec sa mère et maintenant elle fait face à la tâche inimaginable de trouver un nouvel appartement pour elle, son père (qui quittera l'île de Vancouver pour vivre avec elle), son chien Arlo et ses deux chats Mavis et Snoopy.

Notre intention avec ce GoFundMe est de collecter des fonds pour aider à couvrir certains des coûts immédiats qu'elle et sa grand-mère encourent et pour l'aider à meubler et aménager son futur appartement. Le reste des fonds ira dans un compte d'épargne pour ses études postsecondaires.
