Honoring Richard: Support for Funeral Costs

My name is Bree, and I am a single mother of three awesome boys. Due to my family going through medical issues over the years, we are on a tight budget. My father, Richard, who has been a rock in my world all the way through, passed away on August 31.

Over the last three years, my dad's health declined fairly rapidly, causing him to be off his feet for long periods of time. He underwent four surgeries, extensive recoveries, and different treatments, leaving him hospitalized or unable to work. I have been doing what I can to help on and off, as he was not able to work. Now, he is gone, and all I want is a hug from my father. Since this is impossible I want to celebrate his life right.

He had an amazing life. He worked so hard his entire life to make sure my mother, brother, and I were taken care of.

This is a fundraiser to pay for funeral and memorial costs, as well as money owed out, as I had taken on many of his bills. I have never done this before, and I have a hard time asking for help. I feel as though so many, have much worse going on.
