Honoring Richard Thomas: Help with Funeral Costs

It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of my father, Richard Thomas, passing away on August 27, 2024. Two years ago, Dad suffered a stroke, and his health had been declining ever since. He was a fighter, strong for his family every step of the way, every minute, hour, and second, until he could no longer fight. He held on with all his might until his last breath.

Many of you may remember him from coaching Little League, where his love for baseball shined brightly. He could talk to anyone about the Braves, and he was always excited to share his passion for UGA football and NASCAR. One of his favorite things was spending Sunday afternoons watching a race with his grandson.

While the pain we feel is unimaginable, we find comfort in knowing he is with God now, happy and deeply loved. He will always live in our hearts, and we know he is watching over us from heaven. He was always there to help others, cherished his family, and adored his grandson. We will forever remember him as the wonderful man he was.
