Family and friends: the life of the party has left us. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Rick Nugent on Saturday, May 11, 2024 in Carson City, Nevada. Rick was known for his infectious laughter and outgoing personality, always ready to share a drink and a joke with anyone who crossed his path. A true character, he loved good times with friends. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The outpouring of support from friends, family, and the community has been overwhelming, with many people sharing heartfelt messages and good times with Rick. This campaign has been set up to support Chuck Nugent, brother of Rick, and aims to alleviate some of the financial stress during this difficult time and ensure that Rick’s family can focus on grieving and healing. Over the last few weeks Chuck has incurred significant travel expenses to attend Rick's bedside while in the hospital as his only brother. Chuck is also facing the financial burden of arranging his brother's final arrangements. The funds raised through this campaign will help cover these costs and provide financial support for Rick’s two young children with any leftover funds.
