Honoring Rita Bloom: A Memorial Fund

Rita Marlene (Czanstkowski) Bloom, 69, of Buffalo, MN, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 24, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Bloom, mother Ellen Weeks, father Frank Czanstkowski, sister Linda Sawatzke, grandparents, and nephews SSGT Rory Gavic and Raul Cervantes.

Survived by her daughters Shawnna Estrella (Matthew) and Dori Estrella-Sands (Peter), her granddaughters Avery Doubek-Estrella and Lula Sands; siblings Debra Larsen (Dave), Frank (Debbie), Dianne Solberg (Mark), Mike (Melody), Bob (Kathy), Ryan; stepfather Rick Weeks; and many half-siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Family, friends, and colleagues she worked with throughout her careers as a nurse, cafe worker, and paraprofessional brought her great joy and were the source of many laughter-filled stories!

Her life will be celebrated at Peterson's Chapel in Buffalo on November 2, 10:30 a.m., with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, a Rita Bloom Memorial Fund has been set up on CaringBridge via GoFundMe for Celebration of Life expenses.
