Honoring Robert Pierret: Support His Loved Ones

Our friend and coworker, Robert Pierret, passed away on Saturday July 27, 2024. He was riding his bike home from his shift at St. John's Hospital Camarillo when he was struck and killed by a car.

Robert was a kind and honest man who cared deeply for his patients and coworkers. He had recently retired from his full time job at Cabrillo Cardiology to teach Nuclear Medicine at Moorpark College and was insistent on continuing his 2 weekends of call at the hospital, where he had been for a little over 25 years. He had also just graduated with a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Concordia University.

When things like this happen, it is so important to remember to hug your loved ones just a little bit tighter every day. Robert will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
