Honoring Rosa Inez Quiroz—support family with funeral costs

It is with great sadness that we share with you that Rosa Inez Quiroz, mother of Heriberto & Homero Jr., passed away on October 11, 2024.

Since arriving from Cocula, Guerrero, Mexico, Rosa was a loving member of the Pilsen neighborhood in Chicago’s south side. She was a beautiful and devoted soul who instilled in her son’s the ability to discern right from wrong and to extend kindness and compassion to their fellow man. Those that were close to her knew how much pride she felt about being a migrant, as well as how much compassion she had for newer generations of family’s immigrating to the US. She was a charismatic individual who in her last years of life enjoyed watching her telenovelas and live action movies. While Heriberto & Homero are saddened by her passing, they are comforted to know that she has been reunited with their father, Homero Sr., who had passed away in 2010.

In this difficult time, Heriberto & Homero Jr. are looking for your support in offsetting the expenses that they will incur for the funeral service as well as for flowers they’d like to purchase to celebrate her life.
