Honoring Scott and Supporting the Hendon Family

Hi, my name is Dave Matz and I'm fundraising for the grieving family of Scott Hendon. Scott fought very hard after having a stroke but eventually on Friday, July 14, the injury he sustained was too much to overcome.

That day, our Sluggers softball family lost a great person in Scott. Scott was a great coach to countless children and a great mentor to underprivileged kids. But, better yet, Scott was a devoted husband, a dad, and a grandpa. Scott was known for his sense of humor and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. With Scott's loss, the family needs help covering expenses while his wife will need to be off work and now dealing with the loss of an income. The family he leaves behind to honor his memory needs help to raise funds to cover his funeral costs. All funds will go directly to his wife, Mikki, to cover funeral expenses.
