Honoring Scott Dendall’s Life and Legacy
Donation protected
The construction management industry recently lost a great engineer and leader, Scott Dendall, leaving a void deeply felt by his family, friends and colleagues. Scott is survived by his beautiful wife of 33 years, Jennifer, their daughter Tamara, and son Alek.
Scott started his career with the Cal. Department of Transportation. He also gained valuable hands-on construction experience having worked for a contractor prior to becoming a consultant construction manager. He always placed the interests of his team and clients as foremost. No challenge was too big for Scott, as he was always optimistic. He overcame issues with his sound engineering judgement, fairness and the spirit of partnering, sometimes by hosting his favorite team-building event, a barbeque. His contributions as resident engineer, structure representative and scheduler led to the successful completion of numerous award-winning local agency projects. In addition to administering construction contracts, Scott cherished mentoring young engineers and shaping the next generation of construction managers.
Scott was always full of energy and cheerful. He loved his family dearly and beamed with pride whenever he talked about them. You could sense the love instantly, anytime they were mentioned.
During the last six years of his career, Scott worked in a key management role at Prescience-Bureau Veritas. We are creating this fund to honor the memory of our dear friend and colleague. Donations will support memorial expenses and provide assistance to his family as they transition into life without him.
We appreciate your contribution and help in remembering a remarkable person who positively impacted those around him. Thank you.
