Honoring Sean Cranmer’s Legacy: Support for His Family

At 22 years old Sean was living in New Orleans fulfilling his dream of becoming a commercial diver. And as many of you know already Sean lost consciousness while in a pool and was under the water for a significant amount of time. On 7/28/24 Sean graciously went to live in the kingdom of heaven, but not without selflessly giving life to strangers through organ donation in true Sean spirit. For those that knew Sean know his charm and charisma is unmatched and will be forever be missed. We may never understand Gods reason for needing Sean home so soon, but we can all rejoice in knowing his strong faith lead him right into the arms of Jesus upon his arrival.

Corinthians 1:3-4 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”

When we first set up this go fund me the intention was to help the family financially with anything they may need. After some back and forth the Cranmers have decided that it would mean more to them and Sean to use the money to create a scholarship fund in Sean’s honor to help others fulfill their dream of becoming a diver. Being a commercial diver brought so much joy to his life, and we know if he was still here it would mean so much to him to have the ability to help others fulfill theirs. Geri, Tom, James, and Jay want to thank everyone for all of their kinds words, prayers, and love they have been shown during this difficult time. We would also like to ask everyone to join us in saying the “our father prayer” in Sean’s memory as saying it daily meant a lot to him. We also
