We are heartbroken to share the tragic news that our beloved family members, Sergio Rios Jr. and Ricardo Rios, were taken from us due to senseless gun violence. This devastating loss has left a void that can never be filled.

Sergio Rios Jr., 33, was a loving son, father, brother, and partner to Mabel Lopez. He is survived by his twin toddlers, Eliana and Alex Rios, who will grow up without their father’s guiding presence. Sergio was a light in every room he entered, a friend anyone could rely on, and the most family-oriented man you could meet. His absence is deeply felt by everyone who knew him. He is also survived by his parents, Amalia and Sergio Rios.

Ricardo Rios, 19, was a sweet, family-oriented young man with many dreams and aspirations. Ricardo loved to Skateboard alongside his brother and together they made life long friendships. He was just beginning to carve out his path in life and had a bright future ahead of him. Ricardo’s dedication to his family and his loving nature were evident in all his actions.

This GoFundMe campaign is to support Sergio’s partner, Mabel Lopez, and their children during this unimaginably difficult time. The funds will help provide some financial stability for Mabel and the twins as they navigate life without Sergio.
