Honoring Sharon Budd: To Fulfill Her Final Wishes

In the wake of Sharon Budd's passing on Tuesday, May 6th, 2024, her loved ones are coming together to honor her memory and fulfill her final wishes. Sharon, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, bravely battled Stage 4 Lung Cancer that had spread to her lymph nodes and throughout her bloodstream. Despite the swift and aggressive nature of the disease, Sharon faced her illness with grace and resilience. At the age of 83, she expressed to her family that she had lived a wonderful life and was prepared to reunite with her late husband, Jim Budd, in the embrace of heaven's gates.

To commemorate Sharon's life and ensure her wishes are carried out, her family has created a GoFundMe campaign. The goal of the campaign is to raise funds to cover the expenses associated with Sharon's final arrangements, including her cremation and burial alongside her beloved husband at Forest Rose Cemetery in Lancaster, Ohio. Sharon and Jim had pre-arranged to be laid to rest together in a special spot on Look Out Rd, overlooking the serene landscape they cherished.

The funds raised through the GoFundMe campaign will go towards the following expenses:

1. Cremation Costs: The funds will cover the expense of cremating Sharon's remains, allowing her family to honor her wishes for a cremation service.

2. Headstone Etching: The remaining funds will be allocated towards the engraving of Sharon and Jim's names, as well as their passing dates, on the headstone marking their final resting place. This will serve as a lasting tribute to their enduring love and the legacy they leave behind.

3. She wanted some of Her and Dads remains to be taken to Naples Pier, in Naples Florida, where both Mom and Dad watched the sun set for over 20 years.

Both the Budd & Norris Families, along with Sharon's extended family and friends, are deeply grateful for any contributions made towards this meaningful cause. By coming together to support Sharon's final wishes, they hope to provide her with the dignified and heartfelt farewell she deserves.
