Honoring Shawn Coffey: Funeral & Memorial Fund

Hi, my name is Molly O’Bryen, and I am the niece of Tim O’Bryen, Shawn Coffey’s beloved husband.

We are raising funds to honor the life and memory of Shawn A. Coffey, who passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Shawn was an extraordinary man—a devoted husband to Tim, a loving father to Mary, and a proud grandfather to Charlotte and Austin. His joy in life was his family, and he was affectionately known as "Bobo" to his grandchildren, cherishing every moment he spent with them.

Shawn’s incredible journey included 38 years in the mortgage banking industry before retiring to pursue a second career as an elementary school teacher at Mullanphy School, where he was adored by students and faculty alike. He was also a die-hard sports fan, avid reader, and an active member of Christ Church Cathedral in Saint Louis.

We are raising funds to cover the costs of Shawn’s funeral service at Christ Church Cathedral on December 7, 2024, as well as related memorial expenses. Your contributions will allow us to give Shawn the beautiful tribute he deserves and help ease the financial burden on his family during this difficult time.
