Honoring Sid Bansal: Help support his family

Donation protected
Siddharth Bansal, affectionately known as Sid, passed away on August 5, 2024. Sid suffered a heart attack on July 17, 2024 that led to multiple other critical complications. Despite his courageous fight, he never fully recovered and unfortunately left this world way too early. He was born on September 10, 1978, in Delhi, India.

Sid had a distinguished career as an executive and senior leader at Salesforce. His academic journey began at the Manipal Institute of Technology in Karnataka, where he studied Electrical Engineering before transferring to the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where he graduated in 2000. Sid's passion for learning continued throughout his life. He earned a Master's in Business Administration from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and completed the Corporate Governance program at Columbia Business School. He also pursued his passion for helping others by obtaining a Life Coach certification from ICF - Accredited Coaching Education.

Sid's greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, cherishing every moment with his loved ones. He found peace in nature, enjoyed long walks, and was a dedicated gardener.

Sid is survived by his beloved wife, Nidhi (45), and his two children, Simran (17) and Arnav (14), who were his greatest pride and joy. Simran is about to embark on her college journey at Northwestern University, while Arnav just started high school. Sid's parents, Sushil Ratan Bansal and Alka Bansal and sister Alisha, also survive him, grieving the loss of a son and brother who brought so much love into their lives.

Sid's family faces an uncertain future. The loss of their devoted husband and father has left a void that can never be filled. To honor Sid's memory and secure his children's futures, we (friends) are humbly reaching out to friends, family, and the wider community for your support to fund Simran’s and Arnav's education and cover the medical bills left in the wake of this tragedy. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be a lasting tribute to a man who gave so much to others.
