Honoring Skye and helping his fiancé Heidi
Donation protected
As many people know, Skye was in a tragic accident on March 6 where a UTV he was traveling in fell through the ice. Unfortunately, at this time, Skye has not been found despite search efforts. Skye was loved by so many, and to hear the outpouring of love and support has been comforting for his family and his fiancée, Heidi. We are so heartbroken over this loss of a truly extraordinary friend and family member.
Skye is a lifelong Alaskan, born and raised in the valley. He spent his life adventuring and living it to the fullest. Skye grew up playing sports and was a stud on the football field. In 2011, Skye graduated from Colony High School and went on to become a powerline man for 10 years. Recently, Skye started his company, Helacomm, and was finding great success. As many know, Skye’s most recent adventure was running the IronDog with his partner Kevin. We could write all day about Skye’s stories and accomplishments, but to summarize it, Skye was truly Alaskan to the core, loved his friends and family unconditionally, and above all, loved Heidi more than words can describe.
This is of course a tragedy that no one expected nor planned for, and we humbly ask for any donation you may be able to provide to assist Heidi during this difficult time.
Once memorial service plans are set in place, info will be passed along.
