Honoring Sophia Rose: Help Us Remember Her

Sophia Rose Tiranke Kaba, of Cranston, Rhode Island, passed away on November 2nd, 2024. The beloved daughter of Katie Xayachack and Mamoudou Kaba, and baby sister of Tyrese and Dominic Kaba, she was loved by many and touched countless hearts in the community.

Sophia Rose was always involved and expressed her talent and beauty all throughout her life. For many years, she participated in competitive cheerleading, was a member of Cranston East's girls' volleyball, Envy club volleyball, and was an aspiring model for Model Up Next 401. She always put everyone else around her before her own needs at all times and only saw the better part of everyone's character. Sophia planned to further her career with the end goal of being a Nurse Practitioner. Her genuineness and kind heart are inspiring to us.

In Buddhism, it is tradition to celebrate one who has passed, 3 years post date of death. Death in Buddhism is a time of reflection on the deceased's life and celebrating the memories, preparing their soul for transcending into their next life, and remembering the joyous moments of their past life. We are asking friends, family members, and fellow members of the community to help us in arranging a proper send-off for Sophia.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 6th, 5-8 pm at The Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 7th, 8-11:30 am in the funeral home, followed by a service at the Islamic Center of RI, 39 Haskins St, Providence, RI. A private burial service to follow, reserved for family. We appreciate your understanding and support during this time.
