Honoring Stephen Perry: Help His Family
Spende geschützt
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the devastating news of Stephen Luke Perry’s passing. Stephen's life was ended abruptly with a gunshot wound, and it remains unclear if it was intentional or accidental.
Stephen was a compassionate soul who brought joy to everyone he met. His infectious laughter and unwavering kindness made him a cherished friend to many. He was a passionate individual who lived life to the fullest. He had a wild spirit that often led him on exciting adventures, like skydiving, bridge climbing, and extreme hiking. Not to mention his job-putting windows in skyscrapers!
Stephen was a dedicated Union Glazier for Local 188 in Seattle. He was a hard worker and got the job done right but could do it while having fun and telling his corny dad jokes. Having him on your crew just made the day better. More than a work buddy, he was loved and consider family by all who called him friend.
Stephen’s untimely passing has left a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. As his family navigates this challenging time, we are coming together to honor his memory and offer our support. This fund is set up to help them through the financial strains of travel, funeral services, and closing out Stephen's affairs, in the midst of their grief. Any contribution you can make will be a heartfelt gesture of support and will greatly help Stephen's family as they cope with this tremendous and unexpected loss.
As mentioned above, it is unknown if Stephen's death was accidental or not. Those closest to Stephen find it hard to fathom he would choose this for himself. Still here we are with uncertainty. Therefore, in addition to supporting Stephen’s family during this difficult time, we want to emphasize the importance of mental health awareness. We recognize how crucial it is to address and support mental health needs, and we believe in making a positive impact beyond this immediate moment. Any funds raised beyond what is needed to assist Stephen’s family will be donated to Stephen's church SOZO Church of Belfair, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). By contributing to these organizations, we aim to promote mental health awareness and support vital efforts in suicide prevention. Thank you for helping us honor Stephen’s memory in such a meaningful way.
