Honoring Steve Wig: Memorial Fund

Our dear friend and colleague, Steve Wig, passed away unexpectedly on June 27, 2024. Steve was a dedicated employee of Gordon Food Service for nearly 14 years. From his initial days as a broker to his time at Davis Creek Meats & Seafood, then as a COP specialist and finally in his current role as DSR, Steve made a lasting impact with both our employees and customers.

Beyond his professional contributions, Steve was a loving spouse to Cindy and father to Brianna and Megan. He was also a grandfather to Scarlet, Jameson, and Henry. His two greatest passions were family and camping; as such, we would like to rally together to raise funds towards a memorial in his honor at one of his favorite campgrounds, Shabbona Lake State Park.
