Honoring Sylvia

We are Tom and Renee O'Connor and we are asking for your help to honor our wonderful friend, Sylvia Strawbridge. She did so much for so many, students and faculty, during her employment at Arkansas State University. After her retirement, she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. She is still fighting that battle but has recently entered home hospice care. She and her son, Matthew, live in Texas in a beautiful home they purchased after her retirement. Matthew has been Syl's sole caregiver and is dedicated to giving her the best care possible at this time.
Matthew's life is about to change dramatically. There will be funeral expenses, which will include out of state travel, their mortgage, medical bills, and monthly expenses. His job allows him to work from home which gives him the necessary time to spend with his Mother. During this time of transition, he should not have to be concerned with upcoming financial burdens when his only source of income will be his own paycheck.
Sylvia is loved by so many and now, in this small way, we can help her.
