Honoring the beautiful lives of Wendy, Isaiah, and Vivian

On behalf of Wendy’s eldest daughters, Kaileigh and Emory a GoFundMe has been set up to assist with the costs of Wendy, Isaiah, and Vivian’s Celebration Of Life and to establish the Isaiah Arrington Scholarship Fund.

Our community is heartbroken this precious family lost their lives in a devastating house fire early Wednesday morning. Wendy, Isaiah and Vivian were known for their kindness, love, and dedication to making the lives around them brighter. Wendy had a love and passion for thrifting and proudly owned The House Collective thrift store on West Center Street. She fiercely loved all four of her children and her love and values she instilled while raising them radiates through their characters and successes. Vivian “squishy” was so beautiful, so sweet. As Jill Rubi-Clark said, Isaiah was truly a kid every mother prayed their child would turn out like. He represented the love of Jesus. He was a talented athlete with an extremely bright future. This tragedy has left a deep void in the Greenwood community, especially for the students, teachers, and coaches at Greenwood High School. I know we as a community will come together to gift this family with the most honorable Celebration Of Life.

Please continue to pray for Wendy’s fiancé’s recovery, her parents, sister, brother, Anna, and especially her two eldest daughters Kaileigh and Emory, and Isaiah and Vivian’s fathers. May they find comfort, acceptance, and peace in God’s plan and feel the love of our entire Greenwood community who surrounds them. It’s so unbelievably hard to understand God’s plans for sometimes, but His plan is often far greater than we can imagine.
