Honoring the Final Homecoming of Garry Anau.

"I Got You." were the words that my 19 year old little brother, Garry Anau would Always say to Me...
Garry was born on December 6, 2001 and raised in Phoenix, AZ. He was a Son, Brother, and one of my Bestfriends. He is the second oldest out of 7 children. Being the oldest son he set a great example for our younger siblings with the love he showed. When help was needed, Garry never hesitated to lend a helping hand. He was respectful, soft-spoken, and gentle hearted. Wherever he'd go, the smile on his face was contagious. Garry was passionate about sports and played football. In May of 2020, he graduated from Moon Valley High School while juggling a full- time job at Sonic Drive-In. His strong work ethic spoke for itself when he got promoted early on to Managing postion. He served in the Youth Ministry, local community and often enjoyed doing volunteer work with our Family and Friends.
On the morning of March 20, 2021 my heart was shattered as I heard the worst news that any big sister could ever hear. My little brother Garry Anau returned Home to our Lord and Savior.
The night before, Garry went to meet up with a local seller on OfferUp, to purchase a pair of Airpod Pros that turned out to be a scam. Tragically, the meet up led to my brother being shot and killed. With this devastating news, many have reached out asking for ways that they can help so this fundraiser was created for that. Just a share of this post or a simple prayer for the strength of my family is what’s always needed.
Thank you for your love and support during this very difficult time. It is deeply appreciated. God Bless!
