Honoring the Legacy of Wang Yee Vang

Donation protected
Hello, friends and family, our father Wang Yee Vang left us on September 17, 2024, to be with our mother. He was 82 years old. To his kids, he was Dad, but to our elders, he was someone who was a significant figure in their life stories.

If Wang Yee is mentioned in any Hmong community, people will know who he is.

He was born in Laos to Cher Lue Vang and Yee Lor. He was the eldest child with 5 brothers and 1 sister. The family grew up poor, and at a young age, my father enrolled himself in school. After that, he joined the military. He did 15 years and ended as a Major in the Hmong Lao Army. In the process, he received major injuries and returned home. My father was very proud of his history. Many people have heard his life story, maybe more than once.

Our father leaves behind three younger brothers: Nxtoov Vaag, Txaj Tshaaj, Ntsuab Tooj, and his kids:

Toua, Ly, May Vue, Phia, Laotai, Mary, Kou, Toubee, TouChia, MyNou, Pao, ShueLong, and Michelle, along with many grandkids and great-grandkids.

In our time of grief, we praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He loved us first that we may love each other. He is worthy of our worship.

Thank you, everyone. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated. God bless.
