Honoring the Life and Memory of Briana Joy Burden.

Hello everyone, my name is Selena Melendez. On the morning of Friday the 28th, my baby sister Briana unexpectedly lost her life through a tragic boating accident. My family and I are asking for your help with honoring Briana’s life and memory. We were so unexpectedly hit by this tragedy. It is a pain we will truly never recover from. This is an incredibly difficult time for our family as learning to cope without her presence, love, and brightness in our lives is something we could have never imagined ever having to go through, especially since she was so young, beautiful, and full of life.

As many of you may know, Briana was so full of love. Such a genuine human being. All Briana wanted to do was have fun and enjoy her life with her friends and family. Briana could be going through the hardest time and still be there to make sure you’re okay.

Briana was and will always be one of the most beautiful souls I have ever had the privilege of knowing and loving. It seems like just yesterday I was holding her in my arms for the first time as she was preparing to come home from the hospital. To be a part of her life, and share everlasting moments with her has been a blessing and my heart will ache until I take my last breath. To know that we will no longer have her here physically breaks our hearts tremendously.
