The Life and Memory of Denise Smith and her "Honor Walk"

It is with a heavy heart and deep pain that I announce the passing of our beloved Denise Smith. Denise was known to many of her friends and family as "Niecy." With the news that Niecy passed away on January 3, 2025, due to an undisclosed medical complication, our family has been mourning the loss of a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister, Cousin, Friend, and confidant. Niecy's sudden death has devastated our family. Niecy was a generous person. She loved hard and gave unconditional love to others. Even after death, she continues to give to others. Niecy was an organ donor and donated her liver so that someone else could live.

The family is understandably shocked by this loss and unfortunately not prepared for all that goes along with planning a funeral at this time. Please help us raise the funds we need for Niecy's Homegoing services. We are raising money to assist with unexpected funeral costs, services, and time John (her husband) might have to take off from his work. We would appreciate it if you could show your support to Denise Smith's family during this difficult time by helping them cover unexpected funeral costs. Please know that 100% of your donation will be used towards Niecy's funeral expenses.

We will provide information regarding the date, time, and location of the services once we have finalized the necessary arrangements with the funeral director.
